Come and participate in the 34th edition of the Marrakech 2024 Marathon and Half! If you are looking for an authentic atmosphere while enjoying the mild temperatures of the Moroccan winter, the Marrakech Marathon course is made for you. We offer you guaranteed race entry, ideally located accommodation and staff support.
Running in Marrakech will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture. With musicians along the route or locals watching runners passing through their neighbourhood for an exchange of smiles or a high 5, let yourself be immersed in this very special atmosphere that will brighten up your race and pull you through to the finish line.
The course will allow you to run along the famous city walls and is flat and fast. Note that the maximum time you can do on the marathon is 5 hours, 30 minutes.

Arrival Day
Make your way to Marrakech. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by local staff and transferred to your hotel. Your race documents will be given to you at the hotel. Your evening meal will be served in the hotel restaurant tonight.
Saturday 28th January, 2023
Relax and Explore
After breakfast, relax and enjoy Marrakech at your own pace. Your evening meal will be served in the hotel restaurant tonight.
Sunday 29th January, 2023
Race Day
This is the day you have trained so hard for! After an early breakfast, walk approx. 5 minutes from our hotel to the Marrakech Marathon & Half Marathon race start. You have 5 hours, 30 mins to complete the marathon and 3 hours for the half marathon. After the race make your way back to the hotel, freshen up, celebrate… You deserve it! Your evening meal will be served in the hotel restaurant tonight.

More than 12,000 runners will attend the 34th edition of the Marrakech Marathon. Considered to be one of the fastest international marathons, the Marrakech Marathon offers exquisite views of the city with sections of the route lined by stunning palm trees, orange trees and olive trees.
